Applications for Danish New Music Academy 2026 will open in the end of 2025.

The Danish New Music Academy is a seven day residential new music course held every two years. We gather together twelve early-career musicians (six composers, six performers) for a week of concerts, seminars, workshops, and rehearsals, that aim to create and explore new relationships between composers, musicians, and audiences.

​

With a strong focus on music creation and learning-by-doing, the Danish New Music Academy aims to strengthen the new music community, and to create new relationships and connections that will have long-lasting effects on the music scene.
